I am going to provide you with a couple of simple steps to make sure you are effectively losing weight without having that negative yo-yo effect which destroys all your efforts that you devoted in your fat loss plan .
Step 1 - Drinking plenty of water . In order to lose weight fast you MUST drink lots of water. It hydrates our body,facilitaes the fat loss process and improves our metabolism which is crucial to effective fat loss programme.Research shows that appropriate water consumption causes the body to produce more heat and to burn more calories.Furthermore drinking more water might make people less likely to drink other high calorie beverages such as coctails or sugar-saturated juices.
Step 2 – Eat small meals each 2-3 hours . You might think that the common way of eating 3 times a day is efficient but if you do that you have a chance of entering in starvation mode which causes your body to store most of its calories as fat .In order to prevent that from happening you must eat more frequently than that to keep the metabolism in anabolic state. Anabolic is the state when you are in either growth of fat loss mode, depending on the type/quantity of foods that you eat.Catabolic mode occurs when a person does not eat regurarly and exercises rarely (or doesn’t do exercise at all)
Step 3 – Eat as much protein as you can.First , enough amount of protein will ensure that your muscles are intact and in growth phase.Second,research shows that our bodies use three times more calories to digest protein rich foods – such as meat,eggs,cottage chese ,fish ,etc ,than to digest foods rich in carbs such as rice,potatoes,bread.Therefore eating protein rich foods will increase the calorie deficit thereby causing faster fat loss.
Step 4 – Exercise regurarly.In order to achieve a decent physique exercising is mandatory,whether it’s to burn calories faster ,to look more defined or ripped,to increase our metabolism or all those effects combined.You don’t need to train like a professional athlete.Cardio 2-3 times a week will do the trick ,and the effect will be even greater if you go to the gym /exercise at home / exercise outdoors , at least 2 times ( best 3 or 4 ,but if you don’t have time even 2 will do) training no more than 40 mintes.Keep your cardio under 30 minutes.It’s best if you do your cardio on empty stomach,early in the morning.I’ve seen best effects when implementing my cardio early , otherwise is not as effective when it comes to fat burning.It’s very important to be consistend and regurarly take measurements to see whether you are progressing or not.
Step 5 – Pay attetion to what you drink.You must forget about beer,coca cola ,artifical juices or any other high calorie beverages if you want to lose weight fast.Try drinking water or soda.Anything else will only slower your fat loss progress.Still ,if you adore a certain beverage you can drink it only after your workout or cardio because then your metabolism will be optimal and therefore you are less likely to store the calories as fat ,however, I don’t recommend doing that.
Step 6 – Avoid simple carbs such as – buscuits,sugar,chocolate – all day long.You don’t need those.You can have one of those things just once a week.This is going to be your small cheat meal.But make sure this cheat meal is the only one in your diet for that week.Furthermore,stay away from complex carbs like rice and potatoes after lunch time because the carbs that you intake give you energy and if you don’t train or don’t engage in anything physical you are more likely to store this unused energy as fat.Therefore after lunch try consuming mostly protein rich meals , with healthy fats and a significantly reduced amount of carbs.

Are there any shortcuts to getting a six pack? I totally agree with what you said in your article, but have you got any specific shortcuts or little tricks that have worked for you in the past?

Yes one of the tricks I use is to have a 0 carb day while only eating healthy fats such as nuts. This depletes my body from carbs but I do not lose my energy as I try to use healthy fats instead.By doing so I manage to work out effectively while still losing weight
